Guests enjoy an extra two-days riding at Ikhaya Nyati reserve, adjacent to Entabeni, where guests will be
accommodated in luxurious tented camps and have great opportunity to view buffalo along with abundant general
game from horseback.
This add-on is a great opportunity to add to the bush experience with the comfort of a tented camp with swimming

Day 1 – Day 8 morning: 8-Day Horseback Safari
Will be as per the 8-day Horseback Safari itinerary.
Day 8 : Final Ride at Entabeni & Travel on Horseback to Ikhaya Nyati – Night at Ikhaya Nyati Tented Camp
Guests concluding the standard 8-day safari will enjoy one final morning ride on the scenic resort section of Legend Golf & Safari
Resort, with opportunities for some enjoyable faster-paced canters across suitable terrain.
Departing Guests: After the ride, these guests will return to Wildside Tented Camp to shower and prepare for their departure transfer
to collect them and taken them back to the airport.
Guests with Add-on booking: For guests continuing the Ikhaya Nyati extension, luggage will be packed and transferred separately by
our logistics team directly to Ikhaya Nyati Tented Camp.
Guests will mount a fresh set of horses at the stables and depart on horseback toward Ikhaya Nyati. The ride follows a scenic route
through the resort and out through the reserve gate with opportunity for new scenery and sandy tracks, continuing along a long
gravel road before entering the Ikhaya Nyati reserve itself. Riders will pass through buffalo territory with opportunities for wildlife
sightings along the way. The ride takes approximately two hours, arriving at the luxury tented camp in time for lunch and check-in
to the spacious safari tents.
In the afternoon, guests will enjoy an approximately two-hour sunset ride through the reserve, ending with sundowners in the bush,
before returning to for dinner at the tented camp. Night at Ikhaya Nyati Tented Camp.
Day 9 : Full Day Riding at Ikhaya Nyati, Bush lunch – Night at Ikhaya Nyati Tented Camp
The day will start with scrumptious breakfast ,after which the guests will set out on horseback to explore the diverse new terrain and
landscapes of the Ikhaya Nyati reserve.
The day’s ride will include a catered bush lunch prepared by the camp team at a scenic stop in the bush, while the horses rest nearby.
Following lunch, the ride continues through varied terrain and wildlife areas, with a total riding time of approximately five hours for
the day.
Guests will return to the tented camp at approximately 15h30, allowing time to relax, enjoy the surrounding views, or potentially
enjoy a swim depending on weather conditions. For guests wishing to add further activities, an afternoon or evening game drive
can be arranged at an additional cost.
Dinner will once again be served at the tented camp. Night at Ikhaya Nyati Tented Camp.
Day 10 : Final Morning Ride and Departure
Guests will enjoy a final early morning ride, followed by a farewell breakfast at the camp. Our team will take the horses back home
after the guests have said farewell.
Time to freshen up and prepare for onward travel, guests will then depart, concluding the Ikhaya Nyati extension adventure.
